New England - October 2017 Day 1 & 2 - Part 1

It has been a while since we last posted. In an effort to provide Deb a nice birthday gift we flew to Maine and toured the 6 states in New England. we had stated out look at Light Houses and fall foliage but quickly added the covered bridges and anything else of interest.

Portland offers all of the different Hotel and  lots of B&B's, just be aware the price varies on the season. We ate at Becky's Diner - a very popular local, that offers a wide variety of food. In has appeared on Diner Dives and Drive-Inn. For breakfast i recommend the home made corned beef hash and eggs, but everything is good says one of the locals.
